Canvas Chrome Designs designed and developed the Thai SELECT Midwest website as a digital platform dedicated to promoting Thai culinary excellence and strengthening the presence of the Thai SELECT program across the U.S. Midwest.
The visual direction was built around a rich red and gold palette inspired by Thai cultural aesthetics and the refined identity of the Thai SELECT program. A key focus of the landing page is the newly introduced “Orchid Star of Honor” symbol, with dedicated visual storytelling explaining its design elements and the four Thai SELECT restaurant classifications: Casual, 1 Star, 2 Stars, and 3 Stars.
The website combines editorial content, certification information, restaurant-focused sections, and articles covering Thai cuisine and the history of Thai SELECT. The responsive layout was structured to create a polished experience across devices while maintaining strong visual hierarchy and accessible content presentation.
The project goes beyond a conventional informational website by creating a digital identity that connects Thai culinary heritage, certified restaurants, food products, and audiences seeking authentic Thai dining experiences in the U.S. Midwest. The broader Thai SELECT program officially recognizes authentic Thai restaurants and Thai food products under the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand.
